Issue Number : 40 - Two Quick Reminders

1. Mission To Minerva Paperback

The mass-market paperback edition of the fifth novel in the "Giants" series, which many readers have been inquiring about, was released in the U.S. by Baen Books in October, 2006, weighing in at 569 pp., ISBN 1-4165-2090-2, $7.99 US, $9.99 Canadian.

Vic Hunt and Chris Danchekker head a small Terran group in a joint project with Thurien scientists to unravel the mysterious physics of the Multiverse. This enables a mission to be sent back to the planet Minerva 50,000 years in the past, before the time of its destruction, in an attempt to create a new reality unfolding toward an altered history.

Obtainable from bookstores and online here.

2. The Two Faces of Tomorrow graphic novel edition

The 13-part comic book edition put out by Dark Horse in 1997 has been collected together into a single graphic novel edition and was released in August, 2006. 572 pp., ISBN 1-59307-563-4, $19.95 U.S. I was very impressed by the artwork and story adaptation by Yukinobu Hoshino, who created the original Japanese version. Chris Warner, senior editor at Dark Horse Books, describes it as "The highest page-count graphic novel we've ever published. A pretty impressive volume!"

We will be adding this edition to the web site Bookstore shortly. In the meantime, it can be ordered directly from Dark Horse Books by going to www.darkhorse.com and entering "Two Faces" in the Search box.
